The Beats EP has excellent noise cancelling capability. In terms of sound quality, the Beats EP is one of the best sounding headsets with very clear and crisp sound. The Beats EP is not suitable for those who want the best convenience and sound experience while watching tv. The Beats EP suffers in terms of outside noise isolation and is not convenient for travel and commution in loud environments. For the sports and fitness enthusiasts,the Beats EP is not recommended as it lacks in comfort and stability while doing sports. For gaming, the Beats EP is not up to par with other similar headsets. Sound leakage is worse that other competitors. In terms of recording quality and voice chat usage, the Beats EP performs reasonably well against the competition.
