Nadat we de tijd hebben genomen om de grafische kaart TeraScale 3 in de HD 6970 volledig te testen, kunnen we zonder twijfel zeggen dat deze de trend voortzet. De HD 6970 is veel duurder dan de HD 6870 omdat het maar liefst € 324.7 kost. Vergelijk dit met de HD 6870, die oorspronkelijk werd geleverd tegen een prijs van € 210.3. Ondertussen is de NVIDIA dichtstbijzijnde equivalent kaart de GTX 560 Ti 448 die € 254.3 kost.
Spec voor spec, deze HD 6970 springt over zijn directe voorganger, de HD 6870, door 23.4 % meer fps te bieden. De HD 6970 heeft 2 GB RAM vergelijking met HD 6870 is 1 GB videogeheugen.
