i5-4570s vs i5-4460?Hi,I was just given both of these processors and I only need 1 for my build. To give an idea of the platform I'm building on, I also have a Z97 mobo, a GTX 970, and an 850w psu. Which will be better to use? Thanks

My reasoning is that it beeing an S may have it behave differently, even if not because of TDP. But you're right, not real easy to find info.Agreed on general perfromance though. OP, just get whichever. They are the same for all practical intents and purposes.

Like I always recommend, If not overclocking then go with an Intel Core i5-4430 3.0GHz, if overclocking then go with Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz. Just like with Ivy Bridge, Intel Core i5-3350P 3.1 GHz if not overclocking and Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz if overclocking.

No, It cannot be overclocked. You're bringing up an S Version of an i5, meaning it sacrifices Clock Speed for Energy efficiency. If you want to Overclock, Spend a bit more on the i5-4690K, I only recommend the S version to anyone who somehow cares about their power bill.

i5 4570s bottleneck gtx770I'm currently using an fx-4100 with my GPU and I've been wanting to switch to intel for awhile. I'd normally go for the non S version, but a great deal popped up on craigslist where I can get the 4570s version for $120. So will it affect my performance if all do on my PC is gaming and web browsing? Games I'll be playing are Battlefield 4, Diablo 3, State of Decay, Skyrim. So will there be any major bottlenecks? And will I see massive improvements from the AMD chip?

No the i5 4570 it won't bottleneck a 770.
