RTX 4050 benchmark with Phenom II X2 B55 1080p, 1440p, Ultrawide, 4K benchmarks at Low Quality
The price/performance ratio is excellent for RTX 4050 against the competition in budget mid-range cards. In terms of memory, the RTX 4050 's 8192 MB RAM is more than enough for modern games and should not cause any bottlenecks. NVIDIA ’s xx50 cards have always been defined by mid-range prices with performance that knocks on the door of high-end graphics cards – especially when overclocked. After taking the time to fully test the Ada Lovelace graphics card inside the RTX 4050, we can say without a doubt that it continues the trend.
Spec for spec, this RTX 4050 leapfrogs its direct predecessor, the RTX 3050, by boasting 34.8 % more fps. The RTX 4050 has 8 GB RAM compared to the RTX 3050 's 4 GB video memory.
In our synthetic benchmarks, the RTX 4050 blows past the RTX 3050, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti and, amazingly, even the RTX 3060 as well. Fortunately, gaming performance was quite impressive. The RTX 4050 consistently delivers great frame rate increases over the RTX 3050, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti and it really justifies an upgrade.
For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Hogwarts Legacy, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2, A Plague Tale: Requiem at 60 fps to 69 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 63 fps. For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Elden Ring, God of War, Forza Horizon 5, Baldur's Gate 3 at 60 fps to 67 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 63 fps.
For 2160p 4K, we were able to play F1 2019, World War Z, Apex Legends, Spider-Man Remastered, Strange Brigade at 61 fps to 65 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 64 fps.
