NVIDIA ’s xx70 cards have always been defined by mid-range prices with performance that knocks on the door of high-end graphics cards – especially when overclocked. After taking the time to fully test the Pascal graphics card inside the GTX 1070 Ti, we can say without a doubt that it continues the trend. Spec for spec, this GTX 1070 Ti leapfrogs its direct predecessor, the GTX 970, by boasting 62.5 % more fps.

The GTX 1070 Ti has 8 GB RAM compared to the GTX 970 's 4 GB video memory. In our synthetic benchmarks, the GTX 1070 Ti blows past the GTX 970 and, amazingly, even the GTX 980 as well.

Compared to its AMD 's closest rival, RX Vega 56, the GTX 1070 Ti was 5.4 % faster. Fortunately, gaming performance was quite impressive. The GTX 1070 Ti consistently delivers great frame rate increases over the GTX 970 and it really justifies an upgrade.

For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Dying Light 2, Total War: Warhammer III, Borderlands 3, Baldur's Gate 3, Armored Core VI at 62 fps to 65 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 64 fps. For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Hitman 3, Monster Hunter: World, Guardians of the Galaxy, Final Fantasy XV, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War at 60 fps to 62 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 61 fps.

For 2160p 4K, we were able to play Overwatch 2, Valorant at 69 fps to 145 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 107 fps.

Critics Reviews

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti ... Our Verdict. The Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti surprises and impresses us with performance numbers almost parallel with the Nvidia GTX 1080 at an entirely reasonable price.
We went into this review thinking that the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti was a calculated move by Nvidia to make the AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 look less appealing in the $400 to $500 market.
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti – Overclocking Using EVGA’s Precision software I was able to get a stable overclock the GPU to 2000MHz and memory to 8300MHz on the GTX 1070 Ti.
The GeForce GTX 1070 Ti is based on the same GP104 GPU employed in the original GeForce GTX 1070 and 1080, and as such, it supports all of the features enabled by NVIDIA’s Pascal architecture ...
The GeForce GTX 1070 Ti and GeForce GTX 1070 graphics cards deliver the incredible speed and power of NVIDIA Pascal ™, the most advanced gaming GPU architecture ever created. This is the ultimate gaming platform.
GeForce GTX 1070 Ti is based on the same GP104 processor we introduced you to last May in our Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Pascal Review. The 7.2-billion transistor chip is a product of TSMC’s 16nm ...
The Zotac GeForce GTX 1070 Ti AMP Extreme is the company’s high-end, factory overclocked and custom cooled 1070 Ti. It sports the aforementioned Base and Boost clocks speeds (1607MHz/1683MHz).
This GeForce GTX 1070 Ti review probably exists only because AMD’s Radeon Vega 56 exists. Nvidia’s GTX-10 series debuted nearly a year and a half ago with the launch of the GeForce GTX 1070 ...
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 Ti ... The Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti is the spitting image of its predecessor – or practically any graphics card since the company first introduced its Founders Edition redesign ...

This site is bologna....another "bot" generated results.i have an fx 8320e and a lonely r7 370 that pushes 1440p above 30 frames per second on new games like battlefield 5,cod ww2,rocket league, fortnite.....a gtx 1070 ti should easily do 60 all day long on max settings.

If they are the same price the 1070. If the 1070 is 450 and the 980ti is say 350 get the 980ti. I have a friend that just got a evga gtx 980ti classified for $300 if you can find that take it.
