R9 FURY X benchmark with Phenom 9600B 1080p, 1440p, Ultrawide, 4K benchmarks at Ultra Quality
At 1440p, R9 FURY X can hit 50-60 fps on pretty much everything at ultra, just without antialiasing, less ambient occlusion and turned down shadows. It is worth noting that the R9 FURY X is a very power hungry card and requires a decent power supply unit. With regards to max load temperature, the R9 FURY X 's cooling is excellent at keeping it cool and under control. This combination between R9 FURY X and AMD Phenom 9600B Quad-Core is going to cause serious bottlenecks in many games and cause severe FPS loss. Deciding whether to invest so much money in a high-end GPU like R9 FURY X requires careful thought. With current 4096 MB RAM, the R9 FURY X can have very few memory-related bottlenecks in more modern games.

The R9 FURY X is much more expensive than the R9 390 as it costs a whopping $ 649. Compare this to the R9 390, AMD Radeon R9 390X, which came originally at a price of $ 329, $ 429.
