27" Sony INZONE M9 gaming monitor performance benchmarks: response, input and full specs review

The monitor has a VESA mount. Sony M9 has a total input lag of 12.9 ms, which is excellent among the competition. For the extremely fast frame rates, the Sony M9 has a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz that allows smoother gameplay. To compensate for graphically demanding games, the Sony M9 has a very good low end adaptive refresh rate of 20 Hz that can adapt to more lower frame rate drops. In terms of pixel density, the Sony M9 has an excellent density of 164 pixels-per-inch, resulting in sharper text and picture quality. The monitor panel has good viewing angles and offers better contrast and colors than TN panels. The brightness of Sony M9 is significantly better than other monitors. For graphics color quality, the Sony M9 has an excellent color depth of 10 -bit, resulting in smoother gradients and more accurate colors. The Sony M9 is a relatively new monitor. The Sony M9 has the Display Port and this is essential for NVIDIA cards to work with AMD FreeSync. For the average response rate, the Sony M9 scores 8.4 ms, which can cause motion blurring due to ineffective synchronization with the high refresh rate. The monitor has an unimpressive contrast ratio of 1046 : 1. The minimum response rate of Sony M9 is 3.3 ms, which is can cause ghosting effects. Without the AMD FreeSync support, this monitor is not compatible with AMD graphics cards.
