27" ViewSonic XG2701 gaming monitor performance benchmarks: response, input and full specs review
The minimum response rate of ViewSonic XG2701 is 1.38 ms, which is eliminates ghosting effects. With the AMD FreeSync support, this monitor is compatible with both AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards. The monitor has a VESA mount. The ViewSonic XG2701 has the Display Port and this is essential for NVIDIA cards to work with AMD FreeSync. To compensate for graphically demanding games, the ViewSonic XG2701 has a very good low end adaptive refresh rate of 24 Hz that can adapt to more lower frame rate drops. For the average response rate, the ViewSonic XG2701 scores 5 ms, which ensures effective synchronization with the high refresh rate. For the extremely fast frame rates, the ViewSonic XG2701 has a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz that allows smoother gameplay. It is worth noting that the ViewSonic XG2701 is a relatively old monitor. ViewSonic XG2701 has a total input lag of 15.5 ms, which is bad among the competition. For graphics color quality, the ViewSonic XG2701 has an average color depth of 6 -bit, resulting in dithered gradients and more slightly less accurate colors. The monitor uses a TN panel which suffers from color shifting when viewed from horizontal and vertical angles and has slightly washed colors compared to IPS and VA panels. The brightness of ViewSonic XG2701 is lower than other monitors. In terms of pixel density, the ViewSonic XG2701 has an low density of 81 pixels-per-inch, resulting in pixelated text and picture quality. The monitor has an unimpressive contrast ratio of 1000 : 1.

Using a Viewsonic XG2701 monitor on a gtx 1070ti. any problem?
i have Palit gtx 1070 ti super jestream. and i want i 144hz gaming monitor. i saw that all the 144hz monitor with good value (cheap) are with freesync. in my region.. and i saw the viewsonic xg2701. i want to buy that monitor. but before i buy it. i want to ask if there is any problem using it with a gtx 1070ti?
is there a performance loss if i use that monitor? compare to a monitor without a freesync 144hz?

BENQ GW2765HT VS Viewsonic XG2701 (IPS 1440p VS TN 144hz)
Hi to all.
Recently I bought a MSI GTX 980 Gaming 4G and I would like to upgrade my 24" 60hz LCD Viewsonic monitor to a better one for gaming.
Im in between the GW2765HT (IPS 1440p) and the XG2701 (TN 144hz). I was looking at the Dell S2716DG but right now is a little expensive for my budget.
I dont play to much FPS (For now just Crysis 3 campign). My list of games for now are, Diablo 3, SC2, Evil Within, Skyrim, Lords of the Fallen, Dark Souls 2 and Witcher 3.
So any suggestion on which monitor should I get between those 2? Or should I just save more money and get the Dell with g-sync(if it does really worth it)?
Thanks a lot

The Dell monitor is good monitor but it is still a TN panel. For the type of Games that you are playing, the games will, in my opinion, look better at a constant 60FPS at 1440P. Witcher 3 is very demanding and running it maxed out 1440P you should around 60FPS. An IPS panel is beautiful to look at compared to a TN panel. It's a question of high frame rates with a decent looking panel or a nice smooth, playable frame rate (60 FPS) but a beautiful looking IPS panel that has lots more colours, and deeper blacks.
What to Consider Before Buying a Graphics Card
If you have been planning to upgrade your system by purchasing a new graphics card. Then there are some important factors to consider.
Resolution VS Quality: Impact on Game Performance
What affects game performance? Clarity or Details?
Ultra VS High Quality Settings in PC Games
Every player has a different notion about the ideal setting for PC games. But in most cases, opting for a High quality graphics configuration is the way to go.
What are CPU or GPU Bottlenecks?
Are you getting sudden frame drops? you might have a bottleneck.
What is the acceptable FPS speed for me?
For some games, you can still enjoy great garphics at lower frame rates.
