On the other hand, the RTX 4060 is closer to being reasonably affordable at a price tag of $ 299. NVIDIA ’s xx60 cards have always been defined by mid-range prices with performance that knocks on the door of high-end graphics cards – especially when overclocked. After taking the time to fully test the Ada Lovelace graphics card inside the RTX 4060, we can say without a doubt that it continues the trend.

Spec for spec, this RTX 4060 leapfrogs its direct predecessor, the RTX 3060, by boasting 15.6 % more fps. Compared to its AMD 's closest rival, RX 7600, the RTX 4060 was 0.099999999999994 % slower.

For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Forspoken, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Atomic Heart, Halo Infinite, Hogwarts Legacy at 62 fps to 69 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 65 fps. For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Total War: Warhammer III, Marvel's Avengers, Metro Exodus, Cyberpunk 2077 at 61 fps to 65 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 64 fps.

For 2160p 4K, we were able to play Resident Evil 2, Far Cry 5, Resident Evil 4, Far Cry New Dawn, Death Stranding at 62 fps to 65 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 64 fps.

On the other hand, the RX 6600 XT is closer to being reasonably affordable at a price tag of $ 379. AMD ’s xx00 cards have always been defined by mid-range prices with performance that knocks on the door of high-end graphics cards – especially when overclocked. After taking the time to fully test the RDNA 2.0 graphics card inside the RX 6600 XT, we can say without a doubt that it continues the trend.

The RX 6600 XT is much more expensive than the RX 5600 XT as it costs a whopping $ 379. Compare this to the RX 5600 XT, which came originally at a price of $ 279. Meanwhile, the NVIDIA closest equivalent card is the RTX 3060 which costs $ 329. Spec for spec, this RX 6600 XT leapfrogs its direct predecessor, the RX 5600 XT, by boasting 28.4 % more fps.

The RX 6600 XT has 8 GB RAM compared to the RX 5600 XT 's 6 GB video memory. In our synthetic benchmarks, the RX 6600 XT blows past the RX 5600 XT and, amazingly, even the RX 5700 as well.

Compared to its NVIDIA 's closest rival, RTX 3060, the RX 6600 XT was 9.3 % faster. Fortunately, gaming performance was quite impressive. The RX 6600 XT consistently delivers great frame rate increases over the RX 5600 XT and it really justifies an upgrade.

For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2, Hogwarts Legacy, A Plague Tale: Requiem at 62 fps to 74 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 65 fps. For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Elden Ring, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, God of War, Forza Horizon 5, Baldur's Gate 3 at 63 fps to 71 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 66 fps.

For 2160p 4K, we were able to play Apex Legends, Strange Brigade, Forza Horizon 4, Fallout 76, Call of Duty Modern Warfare at 62 fps to 69 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 66 fps.
