i5-5675C vs FX-4350 Quad-Core - Minecraft GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q - Game Performance Benchmarks

Intel Core i7-5775C And i5-5675CHello, i have a few question considering this news cpu's.Does it overclock? Can they use dual GPU like amd apu's?Currently i have an pentium g3258 that i plan upgrade in couple months, i striclly use it for emulation (wii,gc,ps2 etc).The thing is, to run wii emulator you need fast dual core (4.2mhz and up), and i may considering the i5-5675C for it

i5 4690k, 5675c or wait?Hello,so I was looking around and saw that the 5675c and 5775c had been released. Now I have a 2500k right now running 4.4ghz but I some of the more CPU demanding games have been lagging a bit, I play mostly Arma and get around 30 fps on 4k. So basically I want an upgrade, and my question is; what is better, i5 4690k, i5 5675c or wait for a new generation? The main priority is raw performance, I don't need to do any rendering or very heavy multitasking.. The most I do is watch netflix whilst playing a game. The small difference in price between the 5675c and 4690k is NO problem, I'm willing to pay 50 eur more if it helps. And I'll definitely overclock it too.Also is there anything I need to know about the 5675c that is important? It's just released and the specs look weird to me, less cache and way lower clock speed? I do notice it has a lower TDP than the 4690k so does it make less heat?Regards,Omit

If you can wait a month or so for Skylake, I would pass on both.The value of the 5675C is the superior integrated graphics which is not applicable to you.I don't know if you can trust pre release benchmarks, but I saw one that claimed 5.0 on air for the upcoming I7-6700K.Add to that a IPC increase, and I think it is worth waiting for.

i5 5675C problem with BLCKI was trying to overclock my RAM and, for that, was trying to reach my max BLCK. At: 12 multiplier (core and cache) 130Mhz BLCK 1.64V RAM @800Mhz base1,350V core0.78 VTTDRAM (whatever this is, a guide said to increase it and the MB turns that number yellow if it's above 0.79, so I kept 0.78 (Stock was 0.75)) 10 multiplier for iGPU disabled edramThe system posts (sometimes) and I get tons of errors on MemtestOk... Lowered it to: 125: doesn't post120: doesn't post110: doesn't post105: doesn't post104: doesn't post103: doesn't post102: posts, no errors on MemtestGet it back to 130: posts (sometimes), erros again.VGA led on MB was on: I reached the conclusion that it was the iGPU, but the multiplier didn't help to get the system to postWhat is happening ? Possibly since on Z97, changing the BCLK changes everything, including things with a very low tolerance for overclocking, such as PCI-E and SATA busses. The general consensus is don't touch the BCLK on anything Sandy Bridge or newer, it'll probably break.As for why 130 POSTs and 103 does not, I have no idea. I'd hazard a guess that there's some non-essential component somewhere that straight up fails at 130, the BIOS ignores it and POSTS, but at 103 it's just unstable or out of spec in some way, leading to the BIOS attempting to initialise it and getting nonsense back from it.

i5-5675C doesn't display anythingI have an i5-5675c Broadwell 5gen. MSI motherboard Z97i AC. Upgraded bios that supports this processor, fans are spinning, but on broadwell displays dont work(on haswell display works) MSI posted: "Support 5th-Generation Intel CPU requires VGA driver version 10.18.14.4206 or later." So on the drive I install the VGA drivers? Ok, but how can i do that when on broadwell cant see anything on the display and when i try install it pops up that "the system does not meet the minimum requirements to install this software," and even if I install it somehow after the format I would have problem again, and I would have to Install windows on other computer again just because it doesnt display anything. Bios would never start, because drivers are activated only after booting from the disk, after windows start.Tried with other gpu and it works, but i'm not going to use other GPU anyway.

Ok. It works. Installed both version of bios in a few ways, but probably installing chipset driver solved problem.I think good idea is to check benchmarks if anyone before posted your MB with your processor. If someone did it it means it is possible http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/376594

Core i5-5675C vs Core i5-4690KLong story short, I built a LGA 1150 system and I'm thinking making some major upgrades.Obviously, a CPU is an essential computer component that you shouldn't skimp on. I don't think I made a mistake when I purchased my Core i3-4170, but a little extra horsepower would be amazing.Since I decided to go with an H97 motherboard, I have the option between Haswell and Broadwell processors. When I do decide to upgrade my CPU, should I go for the former or the latter? I'd assume the 5675C would be better since it's a generation newer. Any advice would be helpful, thanks.

Problem with either of those choices is that you are paying for overclockability you will never use. It you're running them stock, you likely would never notice the difference between a 5675C/4690K and a 4590 or a 4460. Why spend the extra $30-50?
