25" MSI Oculux NXG253R gaming monitor performance benchmarks: response, input and full specs review

The monitor panel has good viewing angles and offers better contrast and colors than TN panels. For graphics color quality, the MSI NXG253R has an excellent color depth of 10 -bit, resulting in smoother gradients and more accurate colors. For the extremely fast frame rates, the MSI NXG253R has a maximum refresh rate of 360 Hz that allows smoother gameplay. The MSI NXG253R is a relatively new monitor. In terms of pixel density, the MSI NXG253R has an excellent density of 91 pixels-per-inch, resulting in sharper text and picture quality. The MSI NXG253R has the Display Port and this is essential for NVIDIA cards to work with AMD FreeSync. To compensate for graphically demanding games, the MSI NXG253R has a very good low end adaptive refresh rate of 20 Hz that can adapt to more lower frame rate drops. The monitor has a VESA mount. Without the AMD FreeSync support, this monitor is not compatible with AMD graphics cards. The monitor has an unimpressive contrast ratio of 955 : 1. MSI NXG253R has a total input lag of 16.7 ms, which is bad among the competition. The brightness of MSI NXG253R is lower than other monitors. For the average response rate, the MSI NXG253R scores 8.2 ms, which can cause motion blurring due to ineffective synchronization with the high refresh rate. The minimum response rate of MSI NXG253R is 4.7 ms, which is can cause ghosting effects.
