In terms of pixel density, the Dell S2719DGF has an excellent density of 109 pixels-per-inch, resulting in sharper text and picture quality. The monitor has a VESA mount. The Dell S2719DGF has the Display Port and this is essential for NVIDIA cards to work with AMD FreeSync. To compensate for graphically demanding games, the Dell S2719DGF has a very good low end adaptive refresh rate of 20 Hz that can adapt to more lower frame rate drops. With the AMD FreeSync support, this monitor is compatible with both AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards. The Dell S2719DGF is a relatively new monitor. For the extremely fast frame rates, the Dell S2719DGF has a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz that allows smoother gameplay. The brightness of Dell S2719DGF is significantly better than other monitors. For graphics color quality, the Dell S2719DGF has an excellent color depth of 8 -bit, resulting in smoother gradients and more accurate colors. The minimum response rate of Dell S2719DGF is 4.1 ms, which is can cause ghosting effects. Dell S2719DGF has a total input lag of 17.7 ms, which is bad among the competition. The monitor uses a TN panel which suffers from color shifting when viewed from horizontal and vertical angles and has slightly washed colors compared to IPS and VA panels. For the average response rate, the Dell S2719DGF scores 8.2 ms, which can cause motion blurring due to ineffective synchronization with the high refresh rate.
