Our Verdict: The price of TITAN V is ridiculous. At 1440p, GTX 1650 SUPER can hit 50-60 frames per second on pretty much everything at ultra, just without antialiasing, less ambient occlusion and turned down shadows. Whereas TITAN V can hit 50-60 frames per second at maximum settings. With some tuning, the TITAN V makes the most sense for gamers with 4K monitors and it is better than GTX 1650 SUPER by a margin. Though serious gamers hardly play at 4k. The TITAN V is faster by 99% for 1440p gaming. For 1080p games, upgrading from GTX 1650 SUPER to TITAN V is not worth it if targeting 60 frames per second. In addition, taking into account the huge price difference between the two, the GTX 1650 SUPER is a winner. The price/performance ratio is much better for GTX 1650 SUPER .

NVIDIA TITAN V

Spec for spec, this TITAN V leapfrogs its direct predecessor, the TITAN Xp, by boasting 11.2 % more fps. Fortunately, gaming performance was quite impressive. The TITAN V consistently delivers great frame rate increases over the TITAN Xp and it really justifies an upgrade.

For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Forspoken, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Atomic Heart, Halo Infinite, Assassin's Creed Valhalla at 61 fps to 68 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 63 fps. For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Marvel's Avengers, Total War: Warhammer III, Metro Exodus, Cyberpunk 2077, Borderlands 3 at 62 fps to 66 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 63 fps.

For 2160p 4K, we were able to play Resident Evil 2, Far Cry 5, Resident Evil 4, Far Cry New Dawn, Death Stranding at 60 fps to 63 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 62 fps.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER

The GTX 1660 might be the mid-range flagship of the latest Turing set of graphics cards, but their prices keep them out of the reach of most entry-level PC gamers. On the other hand, the GTX 1650 SUPER is closer to being reasonably affordable at a price tag of $ 160. NVIDIA ’s xx50 cards have always been defined by entry-level prices with performance that knocks on the door of mid-range graphics cards – especially when overclocked. After taking the time to fully test the Turing graphics card inside the GTX 1650 SUPER, we can say without a doubt that it continues the trend.

Spec for spec, this GTX 1650 SUPER leapfrogs its direct predecessor, the GTX 1050, by boasting 119.8 % more fps. The GTX 1650 SUPER has 4 GB RAM compared to the GTX 1050 's 3 GB video memory.

In our synthetic benchmarks, the GTX 1650 SUPER blows past the GTX 1050, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and, amazingly, even the GTX 1060 6GB as well. Compared to its AMD 's closest rival, RX 580, the GTX 1650 SUPER was 2.5 % faster.

Fortunately, gaming performance was quite impressive. The GTX 1650 SUPER consistently delivers great frame rate increases over the GTX 1050, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and it really justifies an upgrade. For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Hitman 3, Guardians of the Galaxy, Gears of War 5, Watch Dogs: Legion, Monster Hunter: World at 61 fps to 64 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 62 fps.

For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Resident Evil 2, Forza Horizon 4, Battlefield V, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Strange Brigade at 62 fps to 69 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 65 fps. For 2160p 4K, we were able to play Valorant at 92 fps to 92 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 92 fps.

TITAN V vs GTX 1650 SUPER with i7-7700K vs i7-8700K at 1080p and ultra vs ultra settings

TITAN V vs GTX 1650 SUPER with i7-7700K vs i7-8700K at 4K and ultra vs ultra settings

NVIDIA TITAN V / i7-7700K

In terms of cost, pricing clearly is a genuine issue here and the price of TITAN V is simply ridiculous. For those on 1080p or even 1440p monitors, the TITAN V is very expensive and there are better value choices in the short term. It is worth noting that the TITAN V is a very power hungry card and requires a decent power supply unit. In terms of memory, the TITAN V 's 12288 MB RAM is more than enough for modern games and should not cause any bottlenecks. 4K gaming is joyous on this TITAN V , and with a little tweaking to your AA settings, it'd be hard to imagine a title not capable of 60 fps on average.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER / i7-8700K

At 1440p, GTX 1650 SUPER can hit 50-60 fps on pretty much everything at ultra, just without antialiasing, less ambient occlusion and turned down shadows. It is clear that the GTX 1650 SUPER is a significantly more capable high-end card that can play AAA titles at 1080p/1440p with 50-60 frames per second. The price/performance ratio is excellent for GTX 1650 SUPER against the competition in budget mid-range cards. With current 4096 MB RAM, the GTX 1650 SUPER can have very few memory-related bottlenecks in more modern games.
