Our Verdict: With some tuning, the RTX 3070 Ti makes the most sense for gamers with 4K monitors and it is better than RX 7600 by a margin. Though serious gamers hardly play at 4k. For everyone else, especially those on 1080p or even 1440p monitors, the RX 7600 could be the better value choice in the short term. Upgrading from RX 7600 to RTX 3070 Ti is not recommended as it is less than 30% of improvement in performance. In general, a reasonable upgrade is between 30% and 50% or more to justify the purchase of new hardware. The price/performance ratio is much better for RX 7600 .

Spec for spec, this RTX 3070 Ti leapfrogs its direct predecessor, the RTX 2070 SUPER, by boasting 45.9 % more fps. In our synthetic benchmarks, the RTX 3070 Ti blows past the RTX 2070 SUPER and, amazingly, even the RTX 2080 as well.

Fortunately, gaming performance was quite impressive. The RTX 3070 Ti consistently delivers great frame rate increases over the RTX 2070 SUPER and it really justifies an upgrade. Compared to its AMD 's closest rival, RX 6800, the RTX 3070 Ti was -5.2 % slower.

For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play The Callisto Protocol, Remnant II, The Last of Us Part I, Halo Infinite, Forspoken at 62 fps to 80 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 71 fps. For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Hogwarts Legacy, Dead Space, Halo Infinite, Red Dead Redemption 2 at 62 fps to 72 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 69 fps.

For 2160p 4K, we were able to play Just Cause 4, Anthem, Total War: Warhammer III, Guardians of the Galaxy, Battlefield 2042 at 61 fps to 63 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 62 fps.

AMD Radeon RX 7600

AMD ’s xx00 cards have always been defined by mid-range prices with performance that knocks on the door of high-end graphics cards – especially when overclocked. After taking the time to fully test the RDNA 3.0 graphics card inside the RX 7600, we can say without a doubt that it continues the trend. Compared to its NVIDIA 's closest rival, RTX 4060, the RX 7600 was -0.099999999999994 % slower.

For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Forspoken, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Atomic Heart, Halo Infinite, Assassin's Creed Valhalla at 61 fps to 67 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 64 fps. For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Total War: Warhammer III, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Marvel's Avengers, Cyberpunk 2077, Metro Exodus at 63 fps to 64 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 63 fps.

For 2160p 4K, we were able to play Death Stranding, Resident Evil 4, Far Cry 5, F1 2019, Apex Legends at 62 fps to 67 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 64 fps.
