NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti

NVIDIA ’s xx60 cards have always been defined by entry-level prices with performance that knocks on the door of mid-range graphics cards – especially when overclocked. After taking the time to fully test the Turing graphics card inside the GTX 1660 Ti, we can say without a doubt that it continues the trend. Spec for spec, this GTX 1660 Ti leapfrogs its direct predecessor, the GTX 1060 6GB, by boasting 43.7 % more fps.

In our synthetic benchmarks, the GTX 1660 Ti blows past the GTX 1060 6GB and, amazingly, even the GTX 1070 as well. Fortunately, gaming performance was quite impressive. The GTX 1660 Ti consistently delivers great frame rate increases over the GTX 1060 6GB and it really justifies an upgrade.

For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Borderlands 3, Baldur's Gate 3, Armored Core VI, F1 22, Anthem at 62 fps to 66 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 63 fps. For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play GreedFall, Hitman 2, Death Stranding, F1 2019, Spider-Man Remastered at 64 fps to 70 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 68 fps.

For 2160p 4K, we were able to play Overwatch 2, Valorant at 66 fps to 139 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 102 fps.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060

The RTX 3070 might be the mid-range flagship of the latest Ampere set of graphics cards, but their prices keep them out of the reach of most entry-level PC gamers. On the other hand, the RTX 3060 is closer to being reasonably affordable at a price tag of $ 329. The good news is, with the release of the RTX 3060 Ti, the RTX 3060 's price is getting more discount.

For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play A Plague Tale: Requiem, Dead Space, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, God of War, Metro Exodus at 68 fps to 69 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 68 fps. For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Baldur's Gate 3, Armored Core VI, Battlefield 2042, Watch Dogs: Legion, Anthem at 65 fps to 70 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 67 fps.

For 2160p 4K, we were able to play Strange Brigade, Fallout 76, Spider-Man Remastered, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Forza Horizon 4 at 61 fps to 70 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 65 fps.

The price/performance ratio is excellent for GTX 1660 Ti against the competition in budget mid-range cards. In terms of memory, the GTX 1660 Ti 's 6144 MB RAM is more than enough for modern games and should not cause any bottlenecks. With regards to max load temperature, the GTX 1660 Ti 's cooling is excellent at keeping it cool and under control. In short the performance is exceptional, there's no question that this is one of the most powerful single GPU out there in 2026 .

It is worth noting that the RTX 3060 is a very power hungry card and requires a decent power supply unit. In terms of memory, the RTX 3060 's 8192 MB RAM is more than enough for modern games and should not cause any bottlenecks. 4K gaming is joyous on this RTX 3060 , and with a little tweaking to your AA settings, it'd be hard to imagine a title not capable of 60 fps on average.
