Our Verdict: At 1440p, RTX 3050 Max-Q can hit 50-60 frames per second on pretty much everything at ultra, just without antialiasing, less ambient occlusion and turned down shadows. Whereas RX 6700S can hit 50-60 frames per second at maximum settings. The RX 6700S is faster by 78% for 1440p gaming. For 1080p games, upgrading from RTX 3050 Max-Q to RX 6700S is not worth it if targeting 60 frames per second. The price/performance ratio is much better for RX 6700S .

Though serious gamers hardly play at 4k. For those on 1080p or even 1440p monitors, the RX 6700S is very expensive and there are better value choices in the short term. In terms of memory, the RX 6700S 's 8192 MB RAM is more than enough for modern games and should not cause any bottlenecks. In short the performance is exceptional, there's no question that this is one of the most powerful single GPU out there in 2025 .
