Compared to its NVIDIA 's closest rival, GTX TITAN X, the R9 295X2 was 3.3 % faster. For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Borderlands 3, Dying Light 2, Total War: Warhammer III, Monster Hunter: World, Anthem at 61 fps to 64 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 63 fps.

For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Hitman 3, Guardians of the Galaxy, GreedFall, Death Stranding, F1 2019 at 61 fps to 69 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 64 fps. For 2160p 4K, we were able to play Overwatch 2, Valorant at 66 fps to 138 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 102 fps.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti

Spec for spec, this GTX 980 Ti leapfrogs its direct predecessor, the GTX 780, by boasting 51.7 % more fps. The GTX 980 Ti has 6 GB RAM compared to the GTX 780 's 3 GB video memory.

Compared to its AMD 's closest rival, R9 FURY X, the GTX 980 Ti was 8.3 % faster. Fortunately, gaming performance was quite impressive. The GTX 980 Ti consistently delivers great frame rate increases over the GTX 780, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti and it really justifies an upgrade.

For 1080p Full HD, we were able to play Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Just Cause 4, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Battlefield 2042, Gears of War 5 at 61 fps to 61 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 61 fps. For 1440p Quad HD, we were able to play Apex Legends, Spider-Man Remastered, Resident Evil 2, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, World War Z at 60 fps to 69 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 64 fps.

For 2160p 4K, we were able to play Valorant at 110 fps to 110 fps and kept frame rates hovering around 110 fps.
