Our Verdict: At 1440p, 680M can hit 50-60 frames per second on pretty much everything at ultra, just without antialiasing, less ambient occlusion and turned down shadows. Whereas RTX 3070 Ti Mobile can hit 50-60 frames per second at maximum settings. With some tuning, the RTX 3070 Ti Mobile makes the most sense for gamers with 4K monitors and it is better than 680M by a margin. Though serious gamers hardly play at 4k. The RTX 3070 Ti Mobile is faster by 107% for 1440p gaming. For 1080p games, upgrading from 680M to RTX 3070 Ti Mobile is not worth it if targeting 60 frames per second. The price/performance ratio is much better for 680M .
With current 1024 MB RAM, the Radeon 680M can have serious memory-related bottlenecks in more modern games. Deciding whether to invest so much money in a high-end GPU like Radeon 680M requires careful thought.
