i3-4350
  • The i3-4350 is more power efficient and generates less heat.
Ryzen 7 1800X
  • The Ryzen 7 1800X has higher Level 2 Cache. Data/instructions which have to be processed can be loaded from the fast L2 and the CPU does not have to wait for the very slow DDR RAM
  • The Ryzen 7 1800X has higher Level 3 Cache. This is useful when you have substantial multiprocessing workloads, many computationally intense simultaneous processes. More likely on a server, less on a personally used computer for interactive desktop workloads.
  • The Ryzen 7 1800X has more cores. The benefit of having more cores is that the system can handle more threads. Each core can handle a separate stream of data. This architecture greatly increases the performance of a system that is running concurrent applications.
  • The Ryzen 7 1800X has more threads. Larger programs are divided into threads (small sections) so that the processor can execute them simultaneously to get faster execution.
  • The Ryzen 7 1800X has a higher turbo clock boost. Turbo Boost is a CPU feature that will run CPU clock speed faster than its base clock, if certain conditions are present. It will enable older software that runs on fewer cores, to perform better on newer hardware. Since games are software too, it is also applicable to them.
  • The Ryzen 7 1800X has a smaller process size. The faster a transistor can toggle on and off, the faster it can do work. And transistors that turn on and off with less energy are more efficient, reducing the operating power, or “dynamic power consumption,” required by a processor.

Definitely the i3-4350 paired with the GTX 750 Ti. The i3 is more than capable enough of a CPU for gaming, and you will get far better gaming performance out of a 750 Ti than a R7 250. Hope that helps

The i3-4350 is the best out of all three, but you could go with the 4150 to save a bit of money.Depends on what you're going to be doing, of course.

however, the fx-4350 has more headroom for overclocking, and may be better if you decide to overclock it, just be sure and give it proper cooling (water cooled) but thats all up to whoever is using it. dont let them fool you, this thing has .5 higher rating than the intel pentium g645, and actually the Intel I3-4150 amd the AMD FX4350 are about the same rating, however, the intel has a built in GPU, so it isnt necessary to go buy a graphics card, but with how fast those get updated, its not that big of a deal Intel G645 vs AMD FX4350 (what Elemential posted)http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Pentium-G645-vs-AMD-FX-4350#specsIntel I3-4150 vs AMD FX4350http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i3-4150-vs-AMD-FX-4350

low budget cpu: i3-4150 vs fx-6300 vs fx-4350Hello,As the title says, I am trying to upgrade my CPU (and mobo, obviously).I am stuck between I3-4150, FX-6300 and FX-4350.I know that i3-4150 has much better, albeit fewer cores, but I was wondering if that is matched by the FX's more cores. This PC's most CPU intensive games will be Total war games, the occasional Skyrim and Fallout, and Paradox Interactive games.Post note:How Important is mobo chipset? I am thinking of an msi-h81 for the I3.

Yea I am such a fanboy, that I own two FX 8320 rigs. I couldn't turn down the $100 Microcenter deal for black friday. Lay off the AMD fanboy kool aid. $200 more, please... To get an overclock to even remotely touch a Xeon 1231v3, you would have to have exceptional cooling and a higher end motherboard. I could pair the Xeon with any board I want and they will all perform the same. Overclocking costs more, and AMD needs to be overclocked to compete, which makes their value pretty poor.
