i3-3210
  • The i3-3210 has higher Level 2 Cache. Data/instructions which have to be processed can be loaded from the fast L2 and the CPU does not have to wait for the very slow DDR RAM
  • The i3-3210 has more threads. Larger programs are divided into threads (small sections) so that the processor can execute them simultaneously to get faster execution.
  • The i3-3210 is more power efficient and generates less heat.
  • The i3-3210 has a smaller process size. The faster a transistor can toggle on and off, the faster it can do work. And transistors that turn on and off with less energy are more efficient, reducing the operating power, or “dynamic power consumption,” required by a processor.

Intel i3-3210 + GTX 750 TiHey,Is the Intel i3-3210 (on M/B: DH61WW with 4GB RAM) fine to pair with GTX 750 Ti for moderate gaming? If it's a good match, do I need to upgrade the PSU despite 750 Ti is a power efficient graphic card? This is the current casing I have ~ http://leapfroglobal.com/powerlogic/computer-casing/azzura-3000.htmlAppreciate any expert advice

Yep - they'll work well together. You'll need a good quality 400+W power supply.

I3 3210 + GA-H61M-D2h incompatible by Gigabyte?I use the above listed processor and board and they show no problem at all except for performance issue(speed lags a little bit sometimes).Anyways,I queried Gigabyte support for some other issue they told me that your processor is not supported by this board and change it to avoid any unexpected technical issue, and there's a list for that.My problem is the dealer will not change it without any solid issue and I do not find myself this any background for replacement of either board or for CPU.Furthermore,I don't understand how it can be incompatible because the processor is FCLGA 1155 socket type and the board supports Intel 2nd and 3rd generation processors of i series.I need some expert advice on this.

I have the answer now:-According to Gigabyte the CPU support list includes board versions to F4 while mine's F5.As also, this CPU is 1155(ST) so there is no declaration onto any account why this is incompatible becuase there is nothing for F5.Anyways I am having no problems with this,so ciao. This thread has been resolved.

How good is i3 3210?Since I owe one I want to know. You see it is 3.2GHz and i3 3220 is 3.3 and i3 3240 more and so on.What I want is the information about how much difference these.2,.3,.33.34 make from each other when it come to multitasking and game playing or any other thing which requires heavy usage.I have my contacts who,on request, will swap mine for their i3's;but does it really needed? My system is 7 ultimate 32-bit with 4GB RAM with i33210.I do work which requires memory and speed with keeping system on for hours and casual game playing.

well performance increase from 3.2 to 3.3 is minimal. you probably won't even notice it. though i3-3240 should give you better gaming performance if you don't have a dedicated GPU cause it has a better igpu. multitasking performance should be the same as they are dual cores.

I3-3210 is still a decent cpu.GTX1050ti is a nice upgrade from a 6670.Install it and see how you do with it first.Likely you will be pleased, particularly for fast action games.
