i5-4570
  • The i5-4570 is more power efficient and generates less heat.
i9-11900K
  • The i9-11900K has higher Level 3 Cache. This is useful when you have substantial multiprocessing workloads, many computationally intense simultaneous processes. More likely on a server, less on a personally used computer for interactive desktop workloads.
  • The i9-11900K has more cores. The benefit of having more cores is that the system can handle more threads. Each core can handle a separate stream of data. This architecture greatly increases the performance of a system that is running concurrent applications.
  • The i9-11900K has more threads. Larger programs are divided into threads (small sections) so that the processor can execute them simultaneously to get faster execution.
  • For some games, a cpu with a higher clock speed, or in a technical name IPC (Instructions per clock), has better results than other CPU's with higher core count and lower core speed.
  • The i9-11900K has a higher turbo clock boost. Turbo Boost is a CPU feature that will run CPU clock speed faster than its base clock, if certain conditions are present. It will enable older software that runs on fewer cores, to perform better on newer hardware. Since games are software too, it is also applicable to them.
  • The i9-11900K has a smaller process size. The faster a transistor can toggle on and off, the faster it can do work. And transistors that turn on and off with less energy are more efficient, reducing the operating power, or “dynamic power consumption,” required by a processor.

CPU Upgrade from i5 4570 to i7 4770KHey guys, I have the following setup, and I was thinking about upgrading to an i7 4770K (arround 200$) while selling my i5 4570 (~120$). Is it a worthy upgrade? I am constantly seeing a cpu usage of over 80% in games, and I would like to know if I the i7 4770K is ok or I should change everything (cpu+mobo+ram) and upgrade to the i7 8700K. Setup:CPU: Intel Core i5-4570CPU Cooler: SilentiumPC Grandis 2 XE1436MOBO: MSI Z87-G43 Gaming GPU: Gainward GTX 970 Phantom 4GBRAM: 12GB Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3 @ 1866MHz

i5 4570 vs i5 4690I'm planning on upgrading from my pentium g3258 to an i5. Currently an i5 4570 sells for $110 and i5 4690 for $130. I'm gonna pair them with my current gtx 760. My question is, which is the better cpu in terms of cpu intensive games? I like playing games like sims 4, civ 5, skyrim etc. Also, is the $20 difference worth it? (I do mind that $20 since its like 2 weeks worth of allowance)Thank you very much

There is a difference , its just not even close to the 15-20% price difference you'd be paying for it.Essentially the 4690 is 5 or 6% faster , thats all.

i5 4570 vs i7 4770(non k)some people told me i7 4770 will be better over i5 4570 for gaming is that true?

That information is incorrect. The two CPUs are equal for gaming. It is only in highly multithreaded tasks like encoding or editing where the i7 is better.

i5 4570 vs i5 4570s vs i5 4440Which Cpu is better. i5 4570 vs i5 4570s vs i5 4440 i am planning on gaming with them. Also which on will be the best for cooling and having a longer cpu life.

Like I always recommend, If not overclocking then go with an Intel Core i5-4430 3.0GHz, if overclocking then go with Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz. Just like with Ivy Bridge, Intel Core i5-3350P 3.1 GHz if not overclocking and Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz if overclocking.

Intel I5 4570Hello world, I need your help and suggestions becaus I want to upgrade from my I5 - 4570 to an I7 - 8700, and I do not know if it's worth the upgrade, I am working as a photographer and videographer, and many times I am rendering videos 1080p and 4k, and I would like to cut that time in half atleast. So my question for you is, is it worth it? Will I see noticeable speed in rendering times from the 4570? How many years I won't be upgrading my pc? some extra information, I curently have 8 GB DDR3 and a Nvidia Jetstream 970. And when I upgrade the processor I want to get and 16 GB DDR4. So what do you think?
