Core 2 duo E7400 with Fortnite? Can I play Fortnite using a GT 630 with 4gb RAM Dual Channel and a Core 2 Duo E7400? Could it harm my motherboard or another component?

It would not harm any of your hardware if they are compatible, but the cpu will bottleneck the system. I suggest upgrading to 8gb of system memory.

Core 2 Duo e7400 64 bits?Hello guys! I have a Core 2 Duo E7400, Msi g31m3v2, 4gb ddr2 Kingston ram, 2 hdds. The methods listed on various pages tend to say that my computer is NOT 64bit capable. But the intel official page for my processor says it IS. So my question is which source should I trust? Can the other components of my build make my processor not compatible?

Probably not, to OC you need to raise the NB freq and the prebuilt computers tend to have a locked BIOS

The bummer part is that those second hand quad cores still sell for a fair amount online (probably because they are the best CPUs for the LGA775 socket)Honestly a 650 or a 7750 shouldn't be a big bottleneck for that CPU

Hi VarunThe E6600 is the better bet due to it's newer design. It can also be overclocked a little to provide better performance.
