    i3-9100F
    • For some games, a cpu with a higher clock speed, or in a technical name IPC (Instructions per clock), has better results than other CPU's with higher core count and lower core speed.
    • The i3-9100F is more power efficient and generates less heat.
    • The i3-9100F has a higher turbo clock boost. Turbo Boost is a CPU feature that will run CPU clock speed faster than its base clock, if certain conditions are present. It will enable older software that runs on fewer cores, to perform better on newer hardware. Since games are software too, it is also applicable to them.
    • The i3-9100F has a smaller process size. The faster a transistor can toggle on and off, the faster it can do work. And transistors that turn on and off with less energy are more efficient, reducing the operating power, or “dynamic power consumption,” required by a processor.

    Which processor? | i5 4430 | FX-8350 | FX-8320 |Which is better in your opinion - an i5 4430, FX-8350 or an overclocked FX-8320?The i5 is £130, 8350 is £123, 8320 is £100 although if I get the 8320 I'll overclock so that'll be an extra £25 for a hyper cooler master 212 evo. I wouldn't be able to overclock the 8350 straight away because the fan goes over my budget. So basically they'll all be near enough the same price.Other parts (haven't bought yet):£50 motherboard Patriot Signature 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 MemorySapphire Radeon R9 270X 2GB Dual-X Video CardWindows 71920x1080 monitor

Yeah,it's a good budget motherboard. There is little to no difference between the 4430,4440 and the 4460.You can get whichever one you want.As I said,I have a similar build and I have no problems running latest games at medium-high.This build will last for probably 1.5-2 years MAX and then you will need to upgrade your parts. All the best, mate.

i5 3350 vs i5 4430 orHi, i am upgrading my PC and what will remain unchanged will be my HDs, my power-supply (550w). I am quite in open-sea, i have an CPU air-cooler and i am think about these two processor that have a good performance and price, but i was thinking about some -k processors that stays around that price (150-180€). My question is: is it worth buying a -k processor for gaming? Thank you!

The only reason i would buy a (k) processor is if i was to overclock, you probs know this but just in case. The (k) at the end of an intel cpu means its unlocked, meaning easy overclocking, i'm not a big fan of overclocks as if you dont know what to do, everything can go wrong, but the (k) doesnt effect the cpu output massively, so if you want to overclock, i would highly suggest getting the (k) models. P.S forgot to mention that the (k) models cost much more than the (non 'k' i guess you could call them) :3

i5-4430 and 980Ti Bottleneck??Hello, I recently bought a 980Ti, and of course I had before hand checked that my CPU won't bottleneck, but Now I just want to make sure:I have a Intel i5-4430 (non-k) @ 3.00 GHz, so will it bottleneck the 980Ti?I will be playing games like: TF2, Mobas, CS:GO, Pay Day 2, Nosgoth. Basically anything that I find interesting, so consider all kinds of games when you come up with an answer. Thanks in advance, and here are my current specs:GPU: 980Ti Gigabyte (GV-N98TG1 GAMING-6GD)CPU: Intel i5-4430 @ 3.00 GHzRAM: Kingston HyperX 16GB (4x4GB)MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP DDR3 MEMORY: WD Desktop Blue 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MBSSD: NonePSU: SeaSonic M12II 620W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power SupplyCASE: Zalman Z11 PlusOS: Win 10 64-bit

i5 4430 vs FX 6300 / 8320Okay, My current planned rig specs arei5 4430AsRock H87 Pro 4 for a MotherboardGTX 760 2GB Reference (I have already procured this one)8 GB Ram running at 1600 MhzCooler Master K380 for a caseCorsair CX 600 (Getting it from my friend for a mates rate)The GTX 760 stretched my budget a bit far. I am confused whether as to get an FX 6300 / FX 8320 as they are available for cheaper rates in my country. The main reason for the build is gaming , I atleast wanna get an avg of 30 fps at 1080p with AA turned low or off. What do you guys think? Should I spend extra money on i5 4430 or be contend with FX 6300 / 8320 (If so which one?). Which will serve me better in the long run?

i5 4430 haswell on old psuheyi am building a new system tomorrow the new system specs are :i5 4430msi b85g41Gtx 750 evga no SC 1 gigamsi b85 g41 pc mateold psu 400w the problem is i read that you need a haswell compatible PSU to use the c6/c7, now i don't really care about the c6/c7 mode but help me with something here :as i understand this c6/c7 mode can be disabled from the MOBO or it will come already disabled, but say i don't disable, it from what i understood that this c6/c7 mode can only happens in sleep mode so if i disable it and only turn the screen off the problem would be fixed??
