These are older cards, should do fine with your config. But like I said before you will surely need at least 4GB RAM to play any of the games mentioned by you at reasonable frames.

That Athlon is better suited for a HTPC, it struggles quite a bit in gaming. Any of these would be a much better solution.Phenom II B55 3ghz Ebay $25 Most will Unlock to a Quad and take overclocks up to 4ghzAthlon II X4 630 2.8ghz Ebay $35Will take a Good Overclock as well 3.5ghz is about averageFX-4100 3.6ghz Ebay $49Will Take a Overclock well over 4.5ghz but 4.3ghz would be the most on the BoardPhenom II X4 955 3.2ghz Ebay $60Will overclock to around 4ghz and is a little stronger than the FX-4100FX-4300 Ebay 3.8ghz $65Will Overclock to 4.5ghz and beyond and is faster than all the above.Anything over $65 just save for a FX-6300 3.5ghz Ebay $89, FX-6350 3.9ghz $125, FX-8320 $125.Here is a nice Forum thread on that Motherboard with some easy to follow information on Overclocking, he is using a Phenom II X4 955.http://www.ocfreaks.com/forums/f110/asus-m5a97-r2-0-review-2960/

Athlon II x2 220 + M4A78LT-M = Problem?Hello all,Long time lurker, first time poster.I'll get straight to my issue, as not to bore anyone.I have an ASUS CM1730 PC (Win7 x64).Mobo: M4A78LT-M/CM1730/DP_MBCurrent BIOS: American Megatrends 0503*have tried 0802, 0801, 0601, also**list of BIOS available for my mobo; http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M4A78LTM/#support_Download_30CPU: AMD Athlon II x2 [email protected]'ve browsed the net extensively, and know that the chances of unlocking this particular CPU is a hit or miss (could be regor, cold be deneb). That's fine; that's not the problem. The problem is, after searching through multiple forums, ASUS support threads and various other sources, apparently my mobo supports ACC.HOWEVER, enter BIOS -> go to Advanced -> it's not there. Is there a particular BIOS I need to flash to, from 0503?I know mobo manufacturers have been iffy with letting consumers into the ACC-loop, thus more recent BIOS could have that function disabled entirely. However, I've flashed to older versions (which I'm running now). I've flashed to more recent revisions.. no dice. So, if anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it. Whether that be the correct BIOS version that will enable ACC, or some other work-around, perhaps. Thanks in advance!

it could be that your CPU just is a dual core model.it could be that the core unlocker is under the overclocking options for the board, it is for my asrock board.

Easily enough my friend, considering most amd CPUs use a lot of power this uses a mere 65watts and that gpu is old and A very low end card so won't use hardly an power at all.
